Sources
The following are good sources for finding information on gigs:
Resident Advisor, eg: https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/jameslavelle/dates?yr=2009
Setlist.fm, eg: https://www.setlist.fm/search?query=unkle
Songkick, eg: https://www.songkick.com/artists/307778-unkle/gigography?page=3
The List https://archive.list.co.uk/ for Scottish tour dates
As well as old magazines such as Muzik which have gig listings in the back. When creating a page for the individual gig it's always best to have some sort of source to refer back to so your work can be confirmed.
Obviously a lot of the information on Setlist.fm and Songkick etc. is user submitted so it could be wrong, and the information on Resident Advisor and in magazines doesn't take in to account whether the gig went ahead (eg. cancelled or postponed). --Titwsl (talk) 01:50, 30 September 2018 (UTC) --Jimmyjrg (talk) 15:41, 26 April 2020 (AEST)
Unknown Dates
There's a stack of events which have flyers, but no dates. Such as Flip & Trip, No Half Steppin', KUDO, and The Return of Kudo.
They were presumably between 92-94, but it's hard to say.--Titwsl (talk) 22:59, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
Another from 1994(?) https://www.instagram.com/p/BryBqtelCFb/ Featuring Chubby Grooves and Tom Simba. Unknown date and location --Titwsl (talk) 22:35, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
Another from France, Nov 28 199? - possibly 1994 as that was when La Funk Mob were releasing on Mo' Wax. See image: --Titwsl (talk) 11:44, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
Lavelle 1991 in LA
According to DJ Shadow, Lavelle used to DJ in LA frequently around 1991: "He often came to LA to do these Acid Jazz nights, with Orlando Aguillen doing Brass and LA Brass nights. James came to mix at their parties and he had to come twice to Los Angeles when Orlando played the piece of Zimbabwe Legit I had done for Hollywood Basic."
Old Unkle dates
Lots of dates mentioned here: http://unkle77.proboards.com/thread/1479/unkle-festivals-events-tour --Titwsl (talk) 23:43, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
